www.VankarSamaj.com is an online portal working for the betterment of the (SC) Vankar caste community of Gujarat. We also run a matrimonial service on a no-profit, no-loss basis — purely as community service — to help members find suitable matches.
This Privacy Policy covers both the website and the Android app (collectively, “the Service”). It is written to align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Google Play Data Safety requirements.

All data is stored on our servers in India. Traffic between your device / browser and our servers is protected with TLS. Sensitive credentials (OTP provider keys, signing keys) are stored separately from the application code with restricted access. Audit logs of guest sign-ins are automatically purged after 12 months.
While we take reasonable precautions, no online service is 100% secure. We strongly recommend you establish the authenticity and intent of other members before sharing personally identifiable information in your messages with them.

This clause is about the website’s own content — it does not affect your rights over your own personal data, which are covered in Section 5.
The Service is not intended for users under 18, and matrimonial registration is restricted to legal adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
